“Mourning Love Lost”

(In Memory of Those Who Died In The Wakefield, MA Tragedy)

I mourn for those I have never known,

and for the chance I will never have.

Their deaths touched many, including me.

I feel a vacancy I never knew I had.

They were my brothers and my sisters of the world and beyond.

I feel a loss, by never having a bond,

with them.

It is hard to build faith when tragedy occurs.

Yearning to get back an opportunity missed.

I never knew you, but I feel your loss.

I never knew your family, but I feel their pain.

I know what loss is, as I know of love.

I will forever pray for your souls,

and for those who loved you so.

God Bless You All.
